University Belfast (QuB) but it turns out that you need to have
15 people who are interested to sign up. Then they need to pay
£3 to join the community. Fine, but you get no funding
in the first year and apparently it's very hard to book a room
with a projector or TV to show anime on! So erm, ERK!!
If anyone else would want to organise us as a QuB society then
go right ahead, but a forum to get a nice big community together

"The Northampton and Milton Keynes Anime Club was established
online on Friday 30th May 2003 at 10 o'clock at night. The development
of the NMKAC was helped by friends, family, people at Northampton
High School and Dragon-the President of the LAC-London Anime
Club who helped get the website online and running. And of course,
the NMKAC members themselves. Now the club has grown to eight
members after a year and is still growing, and the NMKAC has
also welcomed a new Vice-President: Vic-San who is very hard-working.
The website has gone through updates and four layouts. Now our
club aims to give Anime and Manga (Japanese cartoons and comics
i.e. Pokemon) fans alike the chance to meet and talk together
and would like to expand on its concepts. It also offers online
resources to all Anime fans."
